Touchpaper Television is part of Zodiak Media. It is an independent production company founded by Managing Director, Rob Pursey in 2001.

Rob was a script editor at THE BILL for two years and in 1995 became Head of Development for in-house drama at Carlton TV. He developed INSPECTOR MORSE, KAVANAGH QC, SHARPE, GOODNIGHT MR TOM and many others. After a stint of producing, Rob became Executive Producer at ITV and co-created highly-acclaimed series THE VICE, which ran for five years. He was also responsible forTHE HUNT by Adrian Hodges, BAD BLOOD by Tony Marchant and two series of BIG BAD WORLD by Nick Martin. Since setting up Touchpaper in 2001, Rob has been Executive Producer on many dramas, most recently BEING HUMAN, SINGLE-HANDED and MURDERLAND.
