Being
Human
“We’re the stuff of nightmares. And we’re your only hope.”
George, Mitchell and Annie share a house together. They do all the
things you'd expect housemates to do: cook together, go to the pub
and argue about the gas bill. And every so often, Mitchell
deals with primal blood lust, George turns into a werewolf and Annie
is, well, undead...
Being Human is a unique twist on the aspirational drama, as Mitchell,
Annie and George – a vampire, a ghost and a werewolf – struggle to live
a normal life, trying to achieve things which seem commonplace and normal
to us, yet appear impossibly remote to them.
Our heroes may seem like characters that have tumbled from the pages of
a book, but their problems are always recognizably human. Written by Toby
Whithouse (Dr Who, No Angels), Being Human is part of a new generation of
youthful drama for BBC Three.
