Last Rights
Last Rights is a startling, intelligent, disturbing political thriller. One which will make all viewers (including politicians)
wonder about the direction our democracy is taking. The prospect is chilling – not because it's alien or far-fetched, but because
it is truthful enough to be plausible. It's as gripping for adults as it is for teenagers.
A teenage tearaway, Tariq, vanishes off the face of the earth after stealing a laptop. His best friend, Max, is determined to find out
what happened to him. In doing so, Max embarks on a dangerous quest that takes him from the darkest corners of his estate to the corridors
of power and a terrible truth lurking at the heart of Britain's newly-elected government. Set in the near-future, Last Rights explores
a world where political apathy has reached dangerous depths – and allowed a government to take power that seeks to end democracy itself.
