Adapted by Jonathan Harvey (Coronation Street, Birthday Girl, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Beautiful Thing) from the Jilly Cooper novel, Octavia is a one hour comedy set in the seventies for the ITV comedy department.

Octavia is used to men falling in love with her so when she sets her sights on Jeremy West it doesn’t matter that he’s just got engaged to an old school friend.  An invitation to join the couple on a weekend away seems too good to be true until she meets the fourth guest businessman Gareth Llewellyn, definitely not her type, and intent on thwarting her plans…
